Selfish Illustration
Hi~我是fish。
畢業於倫敦大學金匠學院兒童文學暨兒童插畫研究所畢業，現為自由接案插畫家，經營自有品牌「Selfish Illustration」。
常聽人說，命中缺什麼就要在取名時補回來。Selfish Illustration，是回望自己身處東亞文化之下，一個女生慢慢成長，在重視大我秩序的團體之中，學習善意的自私，用來爭取留給自己的時間和空間，認領自己的需求，重建對自我的認知。
在創作之中，我也在重新靠近自己，治癒自己。而這份能量，也是我想透過畫作傳遞的。

About fish.
She majored in Literature in college. Ever since her childhood she loves painting as much as writing, just as she loves fictions as much as poetry. In the spring of 2019 she began to draw poems and exploring different ways of turning poetry into paintings/putting poems down with painting strokes.
They say that you name something by what is lacking from it. “Selfish illustrarion” is an introspection of a girl growing up in the East Asian culture that values the group more than the individual. She learned the meaning of benevolent selfishness, which offers time and space for herself; she learned to acknowledge her own need and rebuild her self-consciousness.
