BUSHWA’s room

Tzu Yun Wei (they/them) is a NY-based designer and cultural facilitator, focusing on design at the intersection of social acts, play, and queer communication. Their design framework is often interrelating and growing between one and another project.

They present their design outcomes in various formats, such as writing, body performances, printed materials, drawings, workshops, lesson plans, and community engagement.

Their practice focuses explicitly on queerness and personhood. They have gained recognition through scholarships, collaborations, workshops, and lectures, including participation in event planning like the Other Island Book Fair, Material Lab of Pratt Institute, BEAMS, TAIPEI ART BOOK FAIR, and more.
